We are thankful for the Youth Ministries we have at Hope. God has blessed us with some wonderful young people and we look forward to what God has for them in the future.
Brother Corey Cantrell is our Youth Pastor. Corey and his wife, Charity, work with our teens on Wednesday nights and Corey teaches the teen Sunday school class on Sunday mornings. They plan monthly outings for the junior youth class and teen class.
Corey was saved at the age of eight and surrendered to preach when he was sixteen. Corey attended Calvary Baptist Bible College in King, NC, where he graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Theology with a Youth Ministries Minor. If you would like more information about youth activities, please contact Brother Corey Cantrell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What does Hope have to offer your child?
Sunday School ~
Our children’s Sunday School classes are filled with fun and Bible teaching.
The Beginner Class is for pre-school children who are 3 years-old and older. We offer a Primary Class, a Junior Youth Class, and a Teen Class for school aged children.
All adults are invited and encouraged to attend one of the two Adult Sunday School Classes.
Sunday School begins at 10am.
Wednesday Nights ~
Bible truths are taught in ALL of the classes.
The Beginners are excited to learn about a young boy named David, who killed a giant, a man named Noah, who built an ark, a man named Daniel, who was thrown into a den of lions and lived to tell about it and most importantly, about Jesus Christ, Who loves us so much that He died for our sins. The Beginners are encouraged to attend church faithfully.
The Primaries are taught the same Bible truths that the Beginners are taught. They are challenged from their Pastor to memorize one verse each week and to be faithful to church.
The Junior Youth and the Teen Class are taught biblical principles and how to apply them to their daily lives. Both of these classes have many activities throughout the year. Each class is challenged from their Pastor to memorize verses, have a daily devotional, and attend church faithfully.
Pastor’s Challenge ~
Kindergarten through high school seniors are encouraged to work toward a challenge given to them at the beginning of the school year from their Pastor. Each child who earns the Pastor’s Challenge is eligible to go on a special trip during the summer.
